The CSIC attended the 41st Annual Meeting of the Spanish Society of Epidemiology (SEE), which took place in September 2023 in Porto. They participated in a working group organized by the CCAES of the Spanish Ministry of Health titled “Vectors Have No Borders.” During this session, the Mosquito Alert system was presented. This system combines citizen science, artificial intelligence, and updated distribution maps of invasive species to detect the early introduction or detection of an invasive species in a new region or municipality.
