The CSIC attended the MOOD Scientific Conference – End users meeting to present the citizen science tool, Mosquito Alert, and the models derived from the data reported through this tool. This one-day scientific program focused on current stakes and future research initiatives and collaborations required to enhance epidemic intelligence for emerging infectious diseases from a data perspective. The event aimed to provide a comprehensive view of future challenges for public health, emphasizing the necessity of implementing a “One Health” approach and exploring innovations to improve the surveillance of emerging infectious diseases in the context of a changing climate.
