The EO Summit tries to differentiate from other EO events by being user-centric instead of provider-centric, and application-focused instead of technology-focused. One of the major discussion points on stage centre around the fact that adoption is taken so (too) long. EO firms wait too long until potential clients understand what they’re doing. They should go out there and actively look for solutions, be specific and make clients understand their return on investment when investing in EO. With more and more regulations around climate change, biodiversity and nature preservation there should be enough push EO towards commercial ground. Applications like those developed in MOBVEC also rely on EO. These type of conferences help us to have a 360° view on the actual state of the EO sector in and outside of Europe.
