Emerging zoonoses star in the day of the Consell de Col·legis Veterinaris de Catalunya on the occasion of World One Health Day.
With the aim of highlighting emerging zoonoses and the associated risks, the Consell de Col·legis Veterinaris de Catalunya (CCVC) celebrated World One Health Day, November 3, with a day on the present and future of zoonoses emerging. The day discussed climate change and vector-borne diseases, the West Nile Virus surveillance and control program in Andalusia; of the challenges posed by emerging zoonoses in human medicine, and of the current situation of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever. The day was opened by Ramon Cedó, vice president of the CCVC.
