CSIC organized this conference, to bring together leading experts from various sectors and disciplines with the aim of addressing vector-borne diseases in a multidisciplinary manner, especially those caused by viruses transmitted by mosquitoes (West Nile Fever, Dengue, Zika) and ticks (Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever). CSIC presented the AI powered tools developed of MOBVEC: citizen science application and smart-traps.
