The ‘BeGeo’ fair was organized by the National Geographic Institute (NGI) of Belgium at the Brussels Expo to gather the top of Belgium’s geo-IT sector in one place. Besides the general fair, visitors could also follow specific ‘tracks’, each in a specific domain. We opted for the track “Enrich crisis management with geo-intelligence”. At Nazka, we are always looking for opportunities to improve our products, and for applications like MOBVEC, this track was highly relevant, focussing for example on the enormous potential of earth observation (and analysis) in crisis management.
