The third edition of the SICC Conference is being organized by the University of Rome – Tor Vergata and the HESAR Association as part of the activities of the International Master Courses in Protection Against CBRNe events and CBRN Gate.
Following on the previous two editions, this conference aims to disseminate knowledge and education about CBRNe materials and events and transform this field into an academic discipline, in addition to creating a synergic international community of experts and promoting multidisciplinary scientific research in safety and security matters in this context.
Many Italian and international governmental, academic and scientific institutions, companies and organizations working in the field of prevention, protection from and response to CBRNe events are participating in the conference. The conference targets all researchers, scientists, academics, practitioners and experts working or interested in this field.
The conference will also include the participation to tabletop exercises, in which the attendees will participate in realistic scenarios of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear events, in addition to an industrial exhibition sponsored by companies working in this field.
